California’s Central Coast with Elephant Seal Pups

During Alexandra and Kymberly’s recent trip to the Highway 1 Road Trip along the Central California Coast, they stopped at the Piedras Blancas Elephant Seal Rookery – 6 miles up the coast from Hearst Castle. As it turns out, January is peak birthing season, so they saw a lot of pups. The docent (the volunteers are there every day) pointed out one female who was ready to give birth.  Read more here!
