Back Bay Hideaway
Description
2110 Humboldt is a 3,300-square-foot custom home in a quiet Los Osos neighborhood, looking out over the golf course and the Morro Bay estuary beyond. Four bedrooms sleep up to ten, and the shared spaces are built for groups: a wall of windows in the living room, a dining table for eight, and a kitchen with high-end appliances and a custom countertop that lights up. An enclosed atrium holds a private hot tub, and a wind-protected upper deck with a fire pit catches the sunset over the bay. A downstairs game room with a pool table and ping pong gives everyone somewhere to land at the end of the day.
Location
Los Osos and neighboring Baywood Park sit at the southern edge of the Morro Bay estuary, a quiet pocket of the coast with local markets, coffee shops, and casual restaurants within an easy drive. The home sits beside Sea Pines Golf Resort, with a second course at Dairy Creek not far off, and the surrounding Los Osos and Baywood area is known as much for kayaking the back bay as for its fairways. Montaña de Oro State Park lies at the end of Pecho Valley Road, offering seven miles of undeveloped coastline, tide pools at Spooner’s Cove, and trails ranging from easy strolls to the climb up Valencia Peak. Closer to home, the El Moro Elfin Forest offers a one-mile boardwalk through a grove of pygmy oaks with estuary views. Winter brings monarch butterflies to the nearby Monarch Grove and Sweet Springs preserves, and downtown Morro Bay is roughly fifteen minutes away.
Layout
The upper level holds the kitchen, dining area, and living room, all oriented toward the bay, with the deck and half bath just off the main living space. The primary bedroom is also upstairs, with a California king bed, a fireplace, bay views, and an en suite bath featuring dual vanities, a soaking tub, and a step-in shower. Three bedrooms sit downstairs: a second with a California king and fireplace, a third with a queen, and a fourth with a twin-over-full bunk plus a full trundle. A full bath with a step-in shower serves bedrooms three and four. The game room is on the lower level, reached through the backyard. This is a multi-split-level home and is not suited to guests with mobility limitations.
Amenities
The kitchen is fully equipped with an island, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and cooking basics, with dining for eight at the table and four more in the kitchen. Guests have a private hot tub, a fire pit, a BBQ on the deck, a large-capacity washer and dryer, wireless internet, and smart televisions throughout. The game room adds a pool table, ping pong, a large TV, and a small refrigerator. Parking includes a two-car garage plus a large driveway. This is a non-smoking home, and pets are not permitted.
