Classic California Beach House

Description
Cayucos is often called the last of the old California beach towns, and it earns the name. The pace slows the moment you turn off Highway 1, where a historic wooden pier anchors a walkable downtown of locally owned shops, antique stores, and seafood restaurants along Ocean Avenue. Rolling ranchland rises directly behind town, so cattle on oak-studded hills and surfers in the lineup share the same view. It is a quiet, unhurried place built for long beach days and even longer sunsets.

Location
Cayucos sits on California’s Central Coast roughly halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco, just north of Morro Bay and a short drive from San Luis Obispo. This property is perched atop a coastal bluff with the Pacific as its backdrop, and a nearby public path leads down to the sand. Estero Bluffs State Park to the north and Harmony Headlands State Park to the south bracket some of the finest tide pools and sea life on the coast, where sea stars, urchins, and anemones appear at low tide. The Cayucos Pier is a designated Whale Trail viewpoint and a favorite spot for fishing, while rafts of sea otters and pods of dolphins are regular sights offshore. Layout
This 1,300 square foot home is one self-contained side of a blufftop duplex and sleeps up to 8 guests, with a maximum of 6 adults and 2 children under the age of 12. Accommodations include a spacious primary bedroom with a queen bed, a second bedroom with two full beds, and a loft with a queen bed and ocean views. There is one full bath with a combination tub and shower plus a half bath located near the loft and second bedroom. The open concept kitchen and dining area flows to a living room lined with wall to wall windows that frame the coastline. Larger groups can inquire about reserving both sides of the duplex, since the partition wall between the two living rooms opens to create one expansive gathering space.

Outside, a private blufftop patio and propane grill make the most of the ocean setting, and beautifully landscaped grounds surround the courtyard entry. Laundry is located in the shared garage and each unit has two dedicated parking spaces in the driveway. Please note this is a non smoking property and pets are not permitted.
