Location
Oceano sits at the southernmost end of San Luis Obispo County’s stretch of Highway 1, where the rubber meets the road — and the sand. Two sandy beach access points are just steps from the home, placing you directly at the entrance to the Oceano Dunes SVRA, the only California State Park where vehicles may be driven on the beach. Walk the shoreline north to reach Pismo Beach and its famous pier, or head a short drive south to explore the serene Oso Flaco Lake boardwalk and nature trail. Avila Beach, the Arroyo Grande Village, the SLO Farmer’s Market, Morro Bay, and Hearst Castle are all within comfortable reach.
